A Number of Injured as Rough Air Strikes A Delta Airlines Plane Landing at Sydney
A number of individuals have been injured when a Delta Airlines jet originating in Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia was hit by rough air Friday morning.
The flight, numbered 41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it landed at the Sydney airport, a company official informed. A number of the onboard staff required medical attention.
Emergency medical services said they evaluated five patients, and took three of them to a medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries that included back pain and migraines. The injured ranged from their 30s up to the 70s.
